How to Take 16:9 Photos on iPhone
By default, taking photos on iPhone is set to square mode, which is not suitable for many users because they want to take full screen photos based on their posting on their stories on networking sites social. Of course, you can change the photo capture mode on iPhone to 16:9 instead of 4:3 square mode.
The difference between 16:9 and 4:3 is the width of the image. However, the 16:9 shot doesn't necessarily mean more aspects of the shot will be captured, depending on your iPhone's cameras. Let's find out how to resize photos on iPhone to 16:9.
Take 16:9 photos on iPhone
Of course, we'll open the camera app on your iPhone first. In photo capture mode, tap the arrow at the top of the screen.
You will see some options to take pictures, tap on the 4:3 option.
Now select the 16:9 option so that you can view the images on a wide screen.
It's as easy as resizing your iPhone capture, but keep in mind that 16:9 aspect ratio is usually smaller than 4:3 because it crops the photo. So if you want to take full advantage of the picture quality, I recommend using 4:3, unless you want to take a picture to post to your Story, then 16:9 is the right size
If you don't have the option to change the photo capture size on your iPhone, you can restore the Instagram or Snapchat app to take the photos in that size.
